About the research trial

We are conducting a study to better understand the experience of adults living with type 2 diabetes who also experience problematic eating and/or an eating disorder.\
\
What is involved?\
\
If you decide to take part in this study, you will first complete a short 10-minute sociodemographic survey and eating disorder questionnaire. Eligible participants will then be invited to attend an interview (online or in person) that will last up to an hour. The interview will cover questions about your lived experience with type 2 diabetes, your current relationship with food, and how you feel about your body, weight, and shape. Interviews will be audio recorded and the transcripts analysed with all identifying information removed with results presented as a group story. \
\
We are pleased to offer a $20 gift card to the first 25 eligible participants who attend the interview.
